- Laurence - June 12th - The count down begins! Our seminar starts in one month... Everything is prepared and the participants are already working on their drawings. All registered participants should now consult our FORUM for updates.

- Laurence - May 5th - We now have a FORUM where participants can get to know one another. To enter the forum, please click here. (This forum is limited to participants only...)

- Maura - May 4th - TWELVE places are now filled, leaving only THREE PLACES LEFT! If you want to join us, please send us an e-mail and think of registering soon.

- Maura - April 3rd - So far we have registered a wonderful and diverse group of 9 painters. The participants come with all levels of artistic experience in painting and other media. We have men and women from the U.K., the U.S., Germany, Italy, Argentina, and New Zealand (and Laurence is from Paris.) We're really inspired to be working with such a creative group of artists.

- Laurence - April 1st - Our April 1st deadline for room accommodation exceeded expectations. All 9 available places were reserved! So, the apartments called Orione & Nicola (see below for photos) are now full. At our request, Torri Superiore has generously made 2 more apartments available. The first, called Giove, has 4 beds in one large room, with the bathroom outside. It's bright and sunny. The second, called Mercurio, has just been renovated. It has 2 beds and lots of old-world character. (Unfortunately, I don't have photos of these two rooms).

- Laurence - Feb. 21st - I've just returned from Torri Superiore, where I spent a wonderful week with the inhabitants. I also took plenty of pix, not only of their hilltop village, but also its beautiful surroundings. One day I drove across the Alps to Damanhur, crossing some amazing mountain passes. Damanhur's underground temples are very impressive... Another day I drove across the Cote d'Azur to Monaco. But mostly, I was happy just to stay in the cosy atmosphere of Torri Superiore.

Here are some pictures of Torri Superiore...

- Laurence's blog - Feb. 21st - continued - While I was at Torri Superiore, I also took photos of the apartments and the place for the tents. Each apartment has a name - Orione, Nicola - and plenty of character. Two beds per room; two rooms per apartment, plus bathroom (...Sorry if my photos look like a hotel brochure..!). The space for tents (which is the less expensive option...) also looks inviting.

- Laurence's blog - Feb. 21st - continued - Driving up to Damanhur, I saw some quaint old villages perched on the hills. I also had to cross a high Alpine pass covered with snow. Damanhur was, itself, quite an experience. No pictures were allowed, so I couldn't document that part of the experience. But the drive itself was fantastic...
This is the town of Torri, which is a 15 minute walk
down the hill from Torri Superiore. It has a café and small grocery store.
This is the town of Torri viewed from atop the hill.
The small town straddles both sides of the river Bevera.

That's all for now... Hope to see you here!
